I recently attended the Newport Beach Film Festival and checked off Goal #19 on my 101 in 1,001. I really enjoyed the experience.

I went to the screenwriting seminar, A Conversation with Aaron Sorkin. Aaron Sorkin is so insightful. He is full of wisdom, extremely engaging and it really was a conversation with him. He was very in tune with the audience, participated in Q&A and gave us a lot of great information.

I also went to the Something Borrowed screening and after-party with some friends, which was a lot of fun. I read Something Borrowed right after it was published and was SO excited for the movie. I spent the night critiquing all the differences between the book and the movie, so I had to go see the movie again a few days later :)
